India Sketch Book Hindu God meets Buddha

Indian Sketching Adventures Where Hindu God meets Buddha

These two illustrations were developed during my month long adventure in india. I enjoyed learning about all the wonderful hindu gods and their tales to greatness.

ANOTHER UNIVERSE

The first illustration was inspired by buddha which I illustrated in a town called Mcleod Ganj which is best known home of the Dalai Lama. The illustration has a slight twisted of magic as the buddha transcends its mediation powers to far away planet of aliens riding on the sun.

RETRUN OF THE APE GOD

The second illustration hanuman the healing monkey, I was taken away by the charms of Hanuman the monkey god which I relentlessly illustrated in the wonderful and spiritual town of Rishikesh. This town is best known by the Beatles, where they stayed and learnt about the well being practice of yoga, mediation and the art Sitar playing.

COCONUT REVOLUTION POSTER

COCONUT REVOLUTION POSTER

This poster was created for a film screening of Coconut Revolution at Colourama London. The film tells the story of a Pacific island community rising up against the giant mining corporation Rio Tinto Zinc (RTZ) and won despite a military occupation and blockade. The community had to survive from coconuts which provided oil to run vehicles, food, clothing and whole lot of innovative inventions to support their survival and ultimately defeating the giant mining corporation.
